Getting you to where you're going.

Breakdown cover is an insurance product that means you can get help if your vehicle breaks down. If you have a flat tyre or you have an issue with the engine, then you can call us for roadside assistance.

We will then send a mechanic to your location and they will try to fix your vehicle on the roadside. If they cannot fix your car they will take you to a local garage to get it fixed.

Before you buy breakdown cover, you should also think about the level of cover that suits your needs. For example, do you need personal cover or a simply cover just for your car, do you need to addon a European cover?

What is breakdown cover not for.

This cover may not be suitable for everyone. Our breakdown cover is not suitable for:
- Any breakdowns under a quarter of a mile from your home unless you have home start cover.
- The cost of replacing tyres or parts needed to resolve the issue with the car.
- Lost keys unless you have added this to your package
- Any caravan or trailer
- Commercial vehicles
- Any breakdown that occurs before you purchase a policy from us

What do I do when I break down?

Firstly, make sure you are safe, and if you are on the motorway, do as National Highway says, go left, put your hazards on and get behind that safety barrier!

Then call the local highway agency from the closest emergency phone or by calling,

If you’re driving in England, call National Highways on 0300 123 5000.
If you’re driving in Scotland, call Traffic Scotland on 0800 028 1414.
If you’re driving in Wales, call Traffic Wales on 0300 123 1213.
If you’re driving in Northern Ireland, it’s recommended you call the police on 999.

If you can’t leave your vehicle or if you’re in a lane with live traffic:

Turn on your hazard lights (and your sidelights if visibility is poor). Also, make sure everyone has their seatbelt on.
Call 999 immediately.

After you have made sure you and your passengers are safe, please call us at 020 4599 4575 and we can send one of our friendly vehicle recovery operators to get you moving again!
